To right: Autumn Mandala Watercolor collage 50" high by 52" wide
The leaves are from trees native to New York, and I collected them from close to where we lived before we moved to Sebastopol. Each leaf is based on actual leaves I collected. Autumn was my favorite time of year there.
West County Tide Rhythm Meditation watercolor collage, 29" high by 36" wide
This started out being a mandala but as I worked with the paper, the rhythms of the ripped paper spoke of the rhythms of the tide impressions in the sand. The small objects were collected from a beach near our new home in Sebastopol California.

August Days detail
These two three-dimensional watercolors below were inspired by the beautiful towering Black Oak in our neighbor’s yard.
When I was still living in New York, I visited my artist friend Colette Crutcher (www.colettecrutcher.com) in San Francisco. While there, we went to West Point Inn near Mount Tamalpais State Park. This watercolor is one of the views from close to where we were staying.
